Lyssa Layne's Sweet Serendipity

This book has it all, romance, family secrets, suspense and tears. I could not put it down. Spoiler Alert! Have a box of tissues handy.

Unhappy in his current relationship, Owen Linnemann is looking forward to a weekend with his better half—his twin brother. Having been together since before birth, Owen knows his brother understands him better than anyone else and can help him figure out a way to move on from his toxic relationship.

Georgie Jenkins has met the man of her dreams. He’s perfect in every way possible—charming, handsome, fun, but there’s one thing that Georgie can’t understand… why he won’t introduce her to his family. Paranoid that her rough roots are scaring him away, Georgie wonders if this relationship is headed where she’d like.

One fateful morning that will ruin one couple’s love story will be the start of another couple. Strangers will turn into lovers and their search for love will be ended but there’s still one secret. Something that the other doesn’t know, something that brought them together that could end their love story faster than it started.

Jamie Schlosser's Magic Man A Good Guys Novel

The Good Guys, sigh. This has been a wonderful series and up until this point, Colton in Dancer, was my favorite. But Jay, oh my. There is just something about Jay that touched a special place in my heart. A young man that has made mistakes in the past and is determined to do good. Casey is also an incredibly special young lady. The determination that she has, to rise above her circumstances and provide the best life for her son. Again, every single one of the books in this series is fantastic but in my opinion this one is the best. In The Good Guys series, Jamie Schlosser writes about young love and the obstacles that they face. The decisions that stand in front of them will mold them and will affect the rest of their lives. This whole series is 5 stars, hands down.

Kimberly Kincaid's Beyond Just Us

Remington’s most cynical doctor is about to get upended by two little words: I do. Tess Michaleson runs her ER like she runs her life— no pretenses, no exceptions. As a single mother, she can’t afford anything less. As a woman who’s been burned by love? She can’t believe in anything more. Her son and her job are the center of her world. That’s all Tess needs. Until Declan Riley falls into her arms… literally. His tattoos and his Irish accent are enough to melt her panties His diagnosis? That’s enough to break her heart. But Tess can help him get the care he needs… All she has to do is marry him. Declan knows he should keep Tess at arm’s length. What they have is temporary. Necessary. And he knows from experience just how dangerous getting close can be. But the longer he’s around the smart, sexy doctor and her son, the more Declan realizes close isn’t enough. He wants Tess. He wants it all. Even if he has to do the one thing he swore he never would to have her.

From USA Today best-seller Kimberly Kincaid comes an older woman/younger man marriage-of-convenience story full of sizzle and sass.

This full-length romance features an Irish American Air Force veteran-turned-model and a take-no-crap attending physician finding out if fairy tales really do come true.

Jamie Schlosser's OUTCAST - A Good Guys Novel

What a beautiful story of young love.  Bullying in huge issue in the world that we live in.  I have experienced it firsthand with my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy.  This story touched me on so many levels.
Kudos to Jamie Schlosser for such a beautifully written story of how a young couple could persevere and overcome.  Absolutely loved this book.

Jamie Schlosser's DANCER - A Good Guys Novel

BRIELLE
Technically, I'm not a stripper. As a cage dancer, I don't take all my clothes off and no one gets to touch me. I'm just the eye candy. I can feel their eyes on me. I know they're watching, but I don't do this for them. This is my time. My life man not have turned out the way I thought it would, but I'm not complaining. From 9PM to 1AM several days a week I get paid to feel sexy, to feel desired,to do what I love. I always knew I wanted to be a dancer - I just didn't realize I'd be doing it in a cage.

COLTON
Erectile dysfunction - two words that can cause a collective cringe from men everywhere. The doctors can call it "Performance anxiety" all they want, but that's just a fancy way of saying my d*ck doesn't work. Just when I start to think there's no hope for me, I see her. She's gorgeous, sexy, and goofy as f*ck. She also looks really familiar but I can't put my finger on it. When I find out who she really is, my world is turned upside down and everything seems to fall into place. She's not gonna make it easy for me, but I've never been one to back down from a challenge. She's convinced I won't stick around. I'll prove her wrong. I'll show her I'm one of he good guys.

The first 3 novels can now be found in a box set.

Jennifer Bernard's Wicked In Winter, Lost Harbor, Alaska Book 4

Rhonda'a Reading Nook Rating Review

This is book 4 in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series and I think that it is my favorite book of the series. It really makes me want to visit this little town.

Gretel is a carefree individual that was used to be taken care of by "Daddy" but once cut off from funds she decides that it is time for her to become independent and learn to make her own money. Only thing is Gretel has never stayed in one place for an awfully long time.

Zander left the Military to come home and take care of his brothers, after his parents were killed. Zander is quite and reserved and will do anything to keep the family together.

Zander and Gretel wage a bet of how long she will stay in Alaska. Can Gretel help Zander loosen up? Can Zander make Gretel want to put down root?

I laughed so much through this book, but I also cried. This book is full of laughter, passion and love. Kudos Ms. Bernard!

Lia Fairchild's Building Bridges - Bridges Brothers Book 1

Rhonda's Reading Nook Review Rating

Lia Fairchild is a new author to me, and I have to tell you she will be added to my “READ EVERYTHING THIS AUTHOR HAS WRITTEN” list.  I finished book 1 and went straight into book 2.  This is a wonderful series!
The Bridges’ family has had a lot of heartache in the last few years.  Logan was injured while overseas, serving his country and while he was recovering was called home due to another tragedy.  Logan tries to help his family cope with their loss, but he has his own demons to overcome.
Mollie, a nurse and an old high school classmate steps in to help Logan and finds that she is not only in love with Logan but also his family.  Can she help Logon overcome his demons or does her secret stand in the way? If she loses Logan, will she lose the family, that she has come to love, also?
Ms. Fairchild pens just the right amount of laughter, tears, heartache and happiness together to make wonderful read. One you will not want to miss.

Jude Ouvrard's Safe to Love You

                                             Rhonda's Reading Nook Review Rating

In my opinion, this is the best book that Ms. Ouvrard has ever written. It has it all, up’s, downs, laughter, tears, and suspense. Ms. Ouvrard takes us on the emotional journey of Presley and Abbie as they find their true love and fight to overcome all of the obstacles that stand in the way. I could not put this book down! It is truly a lovely story and you will fall in love with Presley and Abbie and feel like they are part of your family.
